1. Pure Cotton Non-Woven Used in Medical Protective Clothing:
The
product performance of the pure cotton non-woven after filming meets
the "GB 19082-2009 Technical Requirements for Single-use Protective
Clothing for Medical Use". The moisture permeability reaches
10000g/(m2·d), which is 4 times that of GB19082. It is superior to other
materials such as Tyvek. It fills the blank field of domestic raw
materials of protective equipment, effectively reducing the dullness and
sweating when wearing protective clothing. It can be worn next to the
skin with fewer allergic reactions. It is very suitable for professional
protective equipment that needs to be worn for a long time such as
protective clothing so that medical staff can provide more focused
service in the long-time treatment and nursing work.
2. Pure Cotton Non-Woven Used in Surgical Gowns:
After
professional anti-alcohol, anti-blood, and anti-grease treatments, pure
cotton non-woven retains the comfort of traditional pure cotton
materials and provides various protective effects required during
surgery, effectively blocking the splashing liquid during the operation.
The surgical gown produced with this material not only meets the
requirements of the domestic industry standard "YY/T 0506.2-2016
Surgical Drapes, Gowns and Clean Air Suits for Patients, Clinical Staff
and Equipment", but also meets the European standard EN 13795-1-2019 for
surgical gowns, American standard AMMI-PB70 for surgical gowns,
isolation gowns Level 1, Level 2, Level 3. The use of pure cotton
non-woven can greatly reduce approximately 90% of the use of plastics
and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) such as "responsible
consumption and production".
3. Pure Cotton Non-Woven Used in Isolation Clothing:
The
combined pure cotton non-woven and blue breathable film are protective,
breathable, and comfortable. The isolation clothing produced with this
material meets the domestic standard "GB/T 38462-2020 Textiles—Nonwoven
fabrics for Isolation Gowns". Combined with the sticking process, it can
meet the American standard AMMI-PB70 for surgical gowns and isolation
gowns Level 1, Level 2, Level 3. It can provide protection at a high
level.
Because the pure cotton
(PC) non-woven is made of 100% cotton as raw material, it is renewable
and biodegradable. Cotton is easy to grow with a short production cycle.
So everything depends on the green purchase decision of medical
purchasers, which can greatly reduce the use of PP/PE plastic materials
by about 90% in the long run. PC non-woven is more environmentally
friendly than PP plastic non-woven or SMS plastic non-woven.
Nowadays,
there are occasional discarded plastic masks on the streets. Some masks
float on the surface of the sea or even are washed to the beach. Some
unscrupulous people litter masks on country trails and footpaths.
Protective clothing, disposable masks, and other qualified model masks
are mainly made of non-recyclable materials such as non-woven and other
plastic materials. At present, hundreds of millions of masks and
protective clothing are discarded every day in the world. The amount of
garbage is staggering. Imagine how many metric tons of plastic are used
and discarded every day. Now that we know that masks will become a part
of our life in the foreseeable future, it is time for us to seriously
study the impact of protective clothing and masks made of plastic on the
environment. To reduce the pressure on the environment, the use of
advanced materials and sustainable materials, such as cotton, can
greatly reduce or even abandon the use of plastics, which is urgent.
Significantly reducing the use of plastics can protect the health of the
public in a safe and sustainable way while reducing the harm to the
environment. The era of green procurement and abandonment of plastics
has arrived. It is extremely urgent to implement the production with
pure cotton non-woven as raw materials. This is an important measure
that will inevitably affect global medical protection, infection
control, and civil society to reduce the consumption of plastic.
2020
is the fifteenth year of the promotion of pure cotton non-woven by
Winner Medical to the whole world. It is also the first year of the
"Decade of Action" plan to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of
the United Nations (SDG). With the product concept of "removing the
plastic and using cotton for sustainable regeneration", Winner Medical
has won high recognition from the White Paper jointly issued by the
United Nations Global Compact and BCG on building sustainable and
resilient medical and health infrastructure in countries along with the
"The Belt and Road Initiative" and accelerating the realization of the
Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. In the next ten
years, Winner Medical will continue with the past and open up the future
and help to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of the United
Nations, build a sustainable and resilient medical and health system,
and provide more comfortable and safer medical protection for customers
and medical staff around the world.
